Hello everyone, how are yall doing and thank you for playing the game. I'm gonna rant for a bit and by a bit I mean a lot, I'm going to pour my heart out because I just want to let it all out you know i don't know who knows.

Yup it's been a year now, where is the new update that i talked about in the previous post where is version 2.0???

Well I'm sorry to inform you that this post is not an announcement, the update is still in development. I know, why is it taking so long? There are multiple reasons behind this, but basically: time, and the game direction has changed.

This was originally just a project for my university, I thought it would be cool for everyone to play it so i share it here. I was surprised by how well it received so I thought it would also be cool to update the game as a way to say thank you, but also cause I love Touhou so a touhou x battle cats cross over would be interesting... and cool.

I was only gonna add like 8 new stages, it was supposed to be a Touhou cross-over, with new cats and doggos, that was about it.

But during development, I was blessed with new ideas, there are nights where i couldn't sleep I started thinking about the game and even more ideas and story cross my mind, there are times where I watch youtube videos, listen to music or just taking a walk, and cool stuff cross my mind and I was like "damn it would be cool if I implement this into my game".

And what do you know, I graduated, now I have to get a job and a place to stay, matter of facts I have to get a job even before graduating because of some stupid mistake i did but let's not getting into it. But basically I don't have as much free time anymore, and development became 2-3 times slower than before, since I have to deal with being an adult with adult responsibilities. It's tough, I'm lost and confused and trying to figuring it out, gonna stay positive. I'm not giving up on this game for sure!

I also decided to go back into doing stuff outside of working on the game just to avoid burnout, I'm cooking up a Frieren fan-art right now so yeah... development is even slower, but this one is just for a short time, I will focus on the game once i finished my art piece. (I do drawing and stuff check it out shameless plug).

So yeah, I'm turning this Battle Cats fan-game into something larger, with a more interesting plot, gameplay and ending, while also have less time to work on it, stress of work and burnout. That is why it is taking longer than usual, If you are still waiting for the new update, I hope you understand, I promise it will be worth the wait, I'm very excited to show you what this game is capable of.

The game will come out when it comes out, I can't make promises on the time because I will fail to deliver them. Just forget about it, once it is out I will drop a trailer and then 30 seconds later the game is freaking out ok? no more announcement date, once you heard of the news, the game is ready and you can it right away.
